Welcome to the Chelsea Public Library. The library is your one stop source for all of your informational needs. We have a large selection of books, magazines, newspapers, and electronic resources available to be checked out by our library card holders. Here you will also find electronic resources, news, announcements, and a calendar of upcoming library events!

Did you know that the Chelsea Public Library has a variety of magazines available for checkout?

Well we do!

Chelsea Library now has a 'Friends of the Chelsea Library' organization.

This is a non-profit that raises money for the library for capital expenses such as more shelving or new computers. All money collected goes to better the library. Annual membership is as low as $25. Make checks payable to 'Friends of the Chelsea Library' mail checks to 515 Station St. Chelsea IA 52215. The library is always free to use and open to everyone. 

An after-school (early-out) program is being offered at your library.

This will occur on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month and the Wednesday following the Monday. The times are 3pm - 4pm.
