Welcome to the Chelsea Public Library. The library is your one stop source for all of your learning needs. We have the best selection of books, magazines, newspapers, and other resources available to be checked out by our library card holders. We also offer e-books, e-magazines and digital audio books. We can connect you with tutoring, proctor services and much more!

Chelsea Library now has a 'Friends of the Chelsea Library' organization.

This is a non-profit that raises money for the library for capital expenses such as more shelving or new computers. All money collected goes to better the library. Annual membership is as low as $25. Make checks payable to 'Friends of the Chelsea Library' mail checks to 515 Station St. Chelsea IA 52215. The library is always free to use and open to everyone.

An after-school (early-out) program will be offered at your library.
